Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester is an American performer, actress, model and the songwriter. Most famously, she is known for her role as 'Blair Waldorf' in the TV drama series "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester started her career as a child. She appeared on a stage in her home town the production of 'The Wizard of Oz'. The show inspired her to pursue acting. Her first job was as a model and in commercials. In her modelling assignments, she's been a part of major brands such as 'Herbal Essences', Vera Wang,' Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren.' It began her career as a model before moving into the world of acting. She started her career as model, however later began acting.
